- Join the Association. If you care about the health of our lake and the sustained value of the properties that surround it, you can play an important role in preserving it for your own enjoyment and for the enjoyment of generations to come.
- Besides being one of over 800 lakes and ponds in Vermont, Lake Parker is also a special community of neighbors and friends. Be a part of it. Wave, say hello and get to know one another.
- There is strength in numbers. With membership you will have a voice in where we focus our energies. If you believe LPA’s focus needs redirection, you can become an agent for change. By working together in a focused, organized and coordinated effort to protect our lake, we can keep it a place for pleasure, not consternation.
- Volunteer for a committee or special project. Lend a hand, share your opinion and impart your knowledge. Share your wisdom on ways we can enhance the appreciation of life at the lake.
- Become educated about invasive species and be aware of what’s growing in and around our lake that either enhances or detracts from lake health.
- Work with other LPA members in the effort to avoid the introduction of aquatic and plant invasives to the environment and control those already present.
- Maintain a shoreline vegetation buffer zone to mitigate the introduction of pollutants into the lake
- Contact us with your ideas. Better yet, if not already a member, become one. The modest $25 annual dues will yield a substantial return on investment.
