• We represent the interests of Lake Parker and the lake community to local, state and federal agencies.
  • We actively participate in and support the work of the Federation of Lake Associations of Northern Vermont and the North American Lake Management Society.
  • We work with the Vermont Lakes and Ponds Management and Protection Program, in the effort to protect, maintain, enhance, and restore Vermont lakes and the public uses that healthy lake ecosystems provide through outreach and education, monitoring and assessment, and regulatory programs.
  • We collaborate with multiple divisions within the State of Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation to ensure we are knowledgeable about and able to effectively communicate to our members the best practices for lakeshore and water quality protection and enhancement.
  • We support activities that improve wildlife habitat on and around the lake such as loon nesting platforms.
  • We publish newsletters to inform members of important local and state matters that impact the lake, lake and property protection practices, fishing and boating information, fish stocking, social events and other issues of interest and concern to the Lake Parker community.
  • We organize and coordinate the lake’s Vermont Green Up Day activities, collecting trash along the roadways bordering Lake Parker.
  • We sponsor summer social events for the lake community and maintain the Walking Path for all to enjoy.
  • We conduct an Annual Meeting, open to all, at which we discuss and seek input for our proposed plans, priorities and initiatives.
