Lake Parker Association Holds Annual Meet

Our annual meeting was held in July, 2012, and I want to thank everyone who attended.

Discussions covered:

  • election of officers
  • finances
  • water quality
  • membership
  • welcome packet
  • future direction of the association.

There were no nominations to replace Rick Blanchard. Since that meeting Ken Kasz has graciously stepped forward and we have agreed to work together as a team for the association this year.

Although he was not elected at the meeting, according to the Bylaws article IV.4 he may be appointed as president by the remaining trustees for a term that will run until the next annual meeting in July 2013.

Joyce Croteau has agreed to continue her many years of expertly managing the finances for the LPA. The position of Secretary remains open at this time.

Our properties are worth more now than ever before and we all want to protect those values, protect the environment in and around the lake and most of all, truly enjoy this beautiful Vermont lake. I believe a strong lake association can play a big role in achieving these goals and want to work toward that this year.

Ken and I would like to hear from you about your ideas for the LPA. What kinds of things should we be doing or not doing? Call or write us with your ideas for the Association. It is here for you and if you don’t tell us, we don’t know what you are thinking.

Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.

Joe Little, Vice President
